Abstract

In this article, the authors evaluate the use of botulinum toxin A (Botox) in the uncommon, but frustrating, clinical situation of a hypocontractile bladder combined with external sphincter nonrelaxation. In this novel study, 27 patients were evaluated for detrusor and voiding dysfunction with urodynamics and questionnaires before and after intraurethral Botox injections.
