In this issue, Afzal and colleagues investigated the diuretic potential of diosmetin, a flavonoid from Citrus lemon, in the Sprague-Dawley rat model; Hafsa et al. reviewed natural remedies for gout and highlighted the importance of medicinal plants as a safe alternative to current conventional therapies against gout, Saghir and colleagues investigated the antispasmodic and antidiarrheal effect of Hippeastrum puniceum and elucidated their mechanism of action, Naseer et al., investigated, n-hexane fraction of Conyza bonariensis's (CB) for its cytotoxic property, Jahanabadi and colleagues compiled and reviewed the medicinal plants with anti-colic activities, while Ahmed and Zahid reviewed and discussed natural remedies for the treatment of diabetes Mellitus.
