Abstract
Located in downtown Lisbon, more specifically in the Areeiro area, AC 18 is a residential building with about 7000 m2 of gross area. This building is parallelepiped in shape, consisting of 6 underground floors, a ground floor, and 12 stories high, with plan dimensions of 38 m x 20 m and 38 m x 16 m, in the underground and high floors, respectively.n terms of the structural solution, different approaches were considered for the floors below ground and for the floors above ground. For floors below ground level, it was opted for a reinforced concrete structure solution, since they are destined for technical areas, with reservoirs and pumping stations, and for parking areas, together with the need for soil containment of the surrounding land.
