Objectives: To study the development of professional deformity in oncological hospital doctors under the influence of professional activity factors. To consider the issues of professional adaptation of medical workers from the perspective of their development of psychoemotional burnout in combination with the problem of physiological and psychophysiological aspects of professional maladaptation. Methods: The analysis of the features of maladaptive reactions of the cardiovascular system of oncological hospital doctors that occur in the course of their professional activities is based on the analysis of changes in three groups of indicators of adaptive response of the cardiovascular system of oncologists, characteristics of blood pressure, heart activity indicators, and the state of peripheral vascular tone. Calculations of the values of psychophysiological indices that integrally characterize the functional state of their body are made. All of the doctors participating in the survey gave informed consent on the acquisition and processing of data. Results: It was found that a significant number (75%) of the tested oncologists have reduced adaptive capabilities of the circulatory system. A significant number of individuals with low stroke (40%) and minute blood volume (30%) were identified. In most cases (up to 68.4%) the examined specialists of the oncological hospital are in a state of impaired professional adaptation according to psychophysiological criteria. Conclusions: It is proposed to use the physiological and psychophysiological indicators used in the study as psychophysiological correlates of the formation and development of professional maladaptation in doctors of different specialties, as well as to control the dynamics of their condition during medical and social rehabilitation of medical institutions.

Purpose: To substantiate and develop a methodology for predicting success in kickboxing on the basis of analysis of morphofunctional, physiological, biomechanical and psychophysiological indicators. Material: it was examined athletes of kickboxing (n=185, age 18.58 +- 0.46 years). It was studied the features of physical development (n = 18). The main biomechanical parameters (n=45) were determined. Goniometric indices of limb joints (n=29) were studied. It was studied the features of psychophysiological reactions (n =76). The adaptive capabilities of the cardiovascular system were studied (n=17). The prognostication is carried out by means of a sequential Wald procedure. Prognostic coefficients and their informativity were calculated. Results: a prognostic table was developed containing the indicators of the functional state of kickboxing athletes. The table includes 31 criteria, the informativeness of which varied within 115,45 - 2,23. The content of the forecast consists in: an evaluation of the results; determination of the corresponding prognostic coefficient; summation of coefficients. The threshold was set at the level +- 13, which corresponds to a probability of 95% (p<0,05). Exceeding the positive threshold means a high level of success for the athlete. When the negative threshold is reached, the probability of success is low. Conclusions: The proposed methodology is based on a sequential analysis of Wald. The technique is a simple, informative and objective tool for monitoring and predicting the status of athletes.

  • Jian Abdullah Noori

The current paper aimed to prepare axial stability exercises with a variety of back muscle contractions for volleyball players, and identify their important effects on some physiological indicators according to sports technology and the explosive ability of volleyball players. The research was based on two hypotheses, both of which indicated statistically significant variations in test results. Pre and post brain signals (EEG) for the three beta brain waves in the experimental group. There are statistically significant variations between the before and post-test findings for the explosive ability of the legs in the experimental group participants. The experimental research technique was used by creating one experimental group. The research population was represented by 12 young volleyball players from Al-Kahraba Club, who were selected using a comprehensive enumeration method to represent their community of origin, with a 100% representation of their community of origin in the sample for the 2023/2024 sports season. The latest sports technologies were employed to measure brain signals (EEG) for the three beta brain waves. This method is easy to apply on the volleyball court and does not require the transportation of players to other laboratories, as is the case with the (Neurosky) device, which includes a sensitive head kit. The Sarget test is approved for the purpose of measuring the explosiveness of the legs, and the EEG is equipped with NeuroSky technology to detect nerve signals. The exercises were prepared and applied in the research experiment by applying pre-tests on 8/10/2023 and then applying axial stability exercises with varying back muscle contractions for the period from 8/13/2023 until 10/5/2023. Applying post-tests on 8/10/2023 concluded the experiment, and the SPSS system statistically processed the collected data, leading to the conclusions and applications that axial stability exercises with varying back muscle contractions enhance the level of low beta EEG signals. To improve volleyball players' explosive abilities, coaches should prioritize physiological (EEG) signals measurement in line with their sports technology. Mobile balance tools used in axial stability training should be suitable for the players' abilities and ensure their safety from sudden falls or injuries.

The article studies the characteristics of tolerance to the occupational factors of flying labor in military pilots (MP) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with the aim of fulfill the psychophysiological training system for military pilots. The study involved 17 Vietnamese and 24 Russian MP between the ages of 19 and 22. Conducted an endurance assessment against flight factors such as overload, hypoxia and effects of balance dynamics on the basis of using statoergometric, hypoxia test and vestibular organ test “OR-10”. Before and after being subjected to the above effects, MP were evaluated for psychophysiological characteristics by measuring critical flicker fusion frequency (CFFF) and reaction time test (RTT) and physiological indicators about computer balance ability during hypoxia. In addition, height and weight indexes were also included in the study. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the two study groups with the difference in height, weight, BMI and flying overload capacity in the Russian MP group were higher. At the same time, there was also a difference in psychophysiological indicators between the two groups. Assessment of hypoxia tolerance and cochlear vestibular testing (OR-10) based on computerized balance indices showed different predispositions for each group. This is because in the Vietnamese MP group, there has appeared an adaptive mechanism in a state of greater exertion than in the Russian group. The results of the study show that it is necessary to improve the psychophysiological training system for Vietnamese pilots in order to improve their ability to resist the effects of occupational factors during flight operations highly maneuverable aircraft manufactured by the Russian Federation.

Exploring the Association Between CD36 rs1761667 Polymorphism and Susceptibility to Non-Contact Tissue Injuries in Moroccan Elite Cyclists and Field Hockey Players: A Pilot Study
  • May 28, 2025
  • Genes
  • El Mokhtar El Ouali + 10 more

Background: Non-contact tissue injury in elite athletes is influenced by multiple factors, including genetic predisposition. Although previous research has identified several genetic markers associated with injury susceptibility, the role of the CD36 (cluster of differentiation 36) gene, a key regulator of fatty acid transport into skeletal muscle and other vital tissues, remains unexplored in this context. A single-nucleotide polymorphism in the CD36 gene (rs1761667) involves an A-to-G substitution (with three genotypes = AA and GG homozygotes and AG heterozygotes), and previous data have reported that individuals carrying the AA genotype of the CD36 gene show reduced expression of the CD36 protein and poorer lipid metabolism. Additionally, it has been recently found that the frequency of the AA genotype is significantly lower in elite cyclists compared to field hockey players. No previous study has examined the association between the CD36 rs1761667 polymorphism and athlete injury risk. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the potential association between the CD36 rs1761667 polymorphism and non-contact tissue injury susceptibility in elite Moroccan cyclists and field hockey players. Methods: Forty-three elite Moroccan male athletes, including 19 cyclists and 24 national team field hockey players, volunteered for this study. Non-contact tissue injuries during the 2022/2023 sports season have been recorded. Genotyping of the CD36 rs1761667 polymorphism was carried out using Sanger sequencing. Chi-square tests were used to analyze the Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium and compare the genotypes and characteristics of athletes with and without non-contact injuries. Results: During the 2022/2023 sports season, 21.05% of cyclists (4 out of 19) and 33.33% of field hockey players (8 out of 24) experienced non-contact tissue injuries. The genotypic frequency was similar in the injured and non-injured groups among cyclists (χ2 and p not calculated because “AA = 0” in both groups), field hockey players (χ2 = 3.30, p = 0.19), and all athletes (χ2 = 1.73, p = 0.41). Additionally, the dominant model of the CD36 rs1761667 polymorphism (AA+AG vs. GG) did not reveal a significant risk of non-contact injuries among cyclists (OR: 1.20, 95% CI: 0.13–19.09, p > 0.9999), field hockey players (OR: infinity, 95% CI: 0.23-infinity, p = 0.53), and all athletes (OR: 2.75, 95% CI: 0.32–34.12, p = 0.65). Furthermore, the recessive model (AA vs. AG+GG) did not demonstrate any effect on the risk of non-contact injuries in cyclists (OR and 95% CI not calculated, p > 0.9999), field hockey players (OR: 0.33, 95% CI: 0.05–2.40, p = 0.38), and all athletes (OR: 0.55, 95% CI: 0.10–2.60, p = 0.69). Conclusions: This study suggests that the association between specific genotypes (AA, AG, and GG) or alleles (A and G) of the CD36 gene and susceptibility to non-contact tissue injuries in Moroccan cycling and field hockey players is uncertain. Given the small sample size, further studies will be needed to explore and confirm these findings.

Features of changes in physiological and psychophysiological indices, as well as of the physical efficiency of the heart, depending on the degree of neurotism in hypoxic conditions
  • Dec 15, 2018
  • Bulletin of the Russian Military Medical Academy
  • A A Blaginin + 3 more

Features of hypoxia tolerability by persons with different levels of neurotism are presented. It was found that changes on physiological parameters such as heart rate, arterial pressure and saturation of arterial blood in persons with a high level of neurotism are more pronounced in conditions of hypoxia. In particular, to the 25-30th min. when they stay in altitude chamber, heart rate is enlarged by 38% (p0,01) from initial. The persons with the low level of a neyrotizm, the augmentation of heart rate doesn’t exceed 28% (p0,01). This compensatory physiological reaction helps maintain arterial blood saturation in people with high neurotism by 5,3% (p0,05) more, at people with a low degree of neurotism. However, at the same time at examinees with a high level of neurotism, in comparison with persons with the low level of a neyrotizm more expressed decrease of working capacity of a myocardium on 23,4%. In addition, in persons with a high degree of neurotism, there is a more pronounced negative dynamics of an increase in the time of a complex sensomotorny reaction to 41,57 ms (p0,05) from background level, while in persons with low neurotism only by 26,19 ms (p0,05). Thus, at assessment of an acceptability of a hypoxia, it is necessary to take into account the dependence of changes physiological and psychophysiological indicators and also physical effeciency of heart from degree neyrotizm.

  • Zh.L Kozina + 2 more

Purpose : prove the concept of individual approach to sports training. Develop a common scheme ways individualization process of training athletes. Material: the study involved 149 athletes: 38 volleyball players and 111 players. Was carried out comprehensive testing athletes for 33 pedagogical, psycho-physiological, biochemical parameters. Also conducted an analysis of indicators of competitive activity. Results : we propose the following areas of the individualization process of preparation of athletes: 1 - systematization of mathematical indicators of preparedness and condition of the athlete in a single point in time; 2 - regression analysis of the dynamics of individual game performance athletes; 3 - the use of universal methods of individualization of various aspects of the training process. It is established that the individual characteristics of players in basketball and volleyball are connected not only with the anthropometric data, but also depend on the physiological and psychophysiological indicators. In this aspect there is provided use of cluster and factor analysis for the construction of individual training programs for players. It was found that the dynamics of the gaming performance is described by quadratic, cubic and sinusoidal functions. In the case of sinusoidal oscillation period of regression models in girls is 25-30 days, 31-38 days in boys. This allows to determine the most preferred times of increasing and reducing the efficiency of competitive. Conclusions : the concept of individual approach in sport involves the separation of a wide range of indicators leading factors in the individual structure of athletes, in the analysis and prediction of individual dynamics of competitive performance, to develop universal methods of individualization with the activation of awareness of various aspects of the training process.

  • L.G Korobeinikova + 4 more

Purpose: studying the dynamics of psychophysiological indices of creative occupation female students. Маterial: the study involved 120 female students. Reactive qualities, level of static and dynamic equilibrium, orientational qualities, speed of operative thinking, volume of rote memorization, attention distribution, level of accuracy, attention speed and switching, accuracy of task performance were assessed. Results: a decrease in the indices of the accuracy of reproducing motion amplitude and a given value of effort, those of response to vertically falling object and those of static and dynamic equilibrium was revealed. An improvement in the dynamics of nervous processes and the ability to constructive praxis was noted. The decrease in the level of development of motor qualities, professional skills, physical fitness, and health is observed already in the 1st year of study. The authors believe that the pedagogical influences should be started from the 1st course and continued until the end of the study. In the process of physical education classes, the physical exercises aimed at improving the professionally significant psychophysiological properties of students should be used. It is they that restrain the negative effect of increasing the intensity of educational classes simultaneously contributing to an increase in the development level of almost all motor qualities and health. Conclusions: uneven decrease of most psychophysiological indices negatively affects both the level of female student motor preparation and professional abilities of the future designers. The findings give ground for the development of the methods for improving motor qualities and psychophysiological properties professionally significant for students-designers. Taking into account the future profession specifics and the health indices will allow more precise planning of the content of physical education classes.
