Abstract

AbstractThe dynamic response of Free–Free boundary conditions laminated curved panels subjected explosive blast loading is considered. The Rayleigh–Ritz method is employed to obtain the eigen‐frequencies of the curved panels by using a set of simple polynomials as admissible functions. The mode superposition method is then in the analysis of the dynamic response. A few examples of the difference geometries and staking sequence for showing the ability and performance of this technique are presented. POLYM. COMPOS., 2009. © 2008 Society of Plastics Engineers
