Abstract

The dyadic Green's functions for a rectangular waveguide filled with longitudinally multilayered isotropic dielectric is derived by the method of mode expansion and scattering superposition. The expressions derived in the paper are tractable by numerical computer calculation. As an example of application, the driving point impedance of a waveguide printed circuit strip mounting structure is analysed and calculated.
