Abstract

In this paper, dressed solitons in dusty plasma in the presence of polarization forces acting on the dust grains are investigated. Including fourth-order nonlinearities of electric potential and integrating the resulting energy equation, an exact soliton solution is obtained for dust acoustic waves in dusty plasma. This exact solution reduces to the dressed soliton solution obtained for the system using renormalization procedure in the reductive perturbation method, when Mach number is expanded in terms of soliton velocity. An equation including higher-order corrections is also derived, and the polarization effect is show to have a significant role in the characteristics of these corrections.
