Abstract

A pair of nonlinear equations for dust-acoustic gravity waves in a nonuniform multicomponent dusty gas is obtained. The possibility of dust-acoustic gravity wave instability and the formation of vortices at the marginal stability point are discussed. The results can have relevance to the generation of waves and coherent nonlinear structures in low-temperature ionospheric as well as in astrophysical dusty plasmas.
