Abstract
A single inductor dual-input current fed isolated soft-switched high gain dc to dc converter topology is proposed for the hybrid energy systems. High converter output voltage is obtained from the interfacing of two different low output voltage DC sources. This dual input simple configuration converter has the other merits of high reliability, high gain and selective source utilization. By employing Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technique to the dc to ac conversion stage switches, improved efficiency is obtained. The design and analysis of the converter are carried out at 500W for which the simulation is performed on PSIM 9.0 and the results are presented in this paper.
