Abstract
The article focuses on such elements as book design, source base, thematic and chronological frameworks. The author conducts a polemic with Łukasz Tomasz Sroka and Mateusz Sroka regarding the prominence in their publication of aspects of emigration of Jews from Poland and the contribution of the Jewish population to the construction of the State of Israel. Especially highlighted are references to the Catholic Church and the Holy See. Apart from polemical themes, the author also points to factual shortcomings. He supplements these deficiencies, using the appropriate literature.

Przemysław Sołga – doktorant historii na Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym w Krakowie. Zainteresowania naukowe: historia Kościoła, historia Zagłady Żydów, historiologia, politologia religii. Sama kwestia tożsamości narodowej i religijnej polskich Żydów jest tematem bardzo skomplikowanym i na pewno nie można powiedzieć, że wszyscy ci, którzy opuścili nasz kraj, jednoznacznie się Tytuł jest moim zdaniem nie do końca stosowny, nawet jeśli Autorzy mieli w zamiarze ukazać tylko polskie korzenie Izraela.
