Abstract

ABSTRACT To complement research carried out by the author on Magdalenian sites in the centre of the Paris Basin, this article presents the results of malacological analyses carried out on the site of Le Tilloy. This site is close, by both its chronology and its lithic industry to the neighbouring site of Pincevent. It differs however by its faunal remains, which include numerous horse bones. The malacological data have not enabled the Magdalenian environment of the site to be determined precisely, and research must therefore continue.
