Abstract

Abstract Graduate students in education, participating in a class project, taught the major principles and ideas of Nila Banton Smith's text, American Reading Instruction, using a learning center approach. Their experience convinced them of the importance of reminding teacher trainers to use innovative approaches in their classes, not just talk about them.
