Abstract

While much of the discussion on the use of media for education has revolved around the mass media, especially radio and television, there is a growing trend to also consider the role to be played by small group media. Research seems to indicate that the media are equally effective as teaching instruments. Janet Jenkins provides us here with a valuable cost and benefit analysis of the various mass and group media in education.
