Abstract

Abstract In this study, the species diversity composition and ecological properties of the Dipsocoromorpha, Enicocephalomorpha, Gerromorpha, Leptopodomorpha and Nepomorpha (Heteroptera: Hemiptera) were discussed. Results show that there are nine families, 36 genera, and 125 species including eight endemic species in Turkey. In the world animal geographical fauna, the composition of the Palearctic region is dominant. In the palearctic region, there are 103 species which is about 82.4 % of the total known species. In my analysis of the ecological properties, it is seen that most of the species are distributed in between 37˚01-38˚01 N, the most appropriate altitudinal range is between 0-200 m and densities by collection date 01.06- 30.06. In addition, species have been found in brackish and salty waters where their ecological requirements were determined. Nine species were recorded for first time from their areas.
