Abstract
Discourses on dissection always take into account cultural a priori and historical practice, as taught by generations of doctors. But other times, other customs, not to denigrate the glorious past of our elders, but to update a practice totally unknown to our colleagues. The choice of a fresh rather than a formulated one, the ethical conditions, the exploration for palpation and movement purposes, and the practice by an anatomist-physiotherapist are all new elements in terms of reality and current issues. To ignore them would be to speak in vain.
