Abstract

Dislocation motions in the three principal planes of single crystal aluminum have been studied at ultrasonic frequencies of 10, 20 and 50 Mc/sec. The activation energies and the relaxation frequencies, calculated from the position of the Bordoni peak, show a high degree of anisotropy. The results are discussed in connection to Seeger's theory.
