AbstractWith the advent of the 5G new media era, the long-established information dissemination methods in the traditional media era have undergone major changes. Due to the changes in the law of communication, the way of communication in the era of new media has undergone significant changes compared with the era of traditional media. The purpose of this article is to study the development trend of new media information dissemination methods. Combining the development history of new media communication methods, this article compares the significant changes in the communication elements and characteristics of new media information communication in the process of communication, and reviews the current situation of new media information communication and the information communication methods under the new media revolution. This article analyzes the use of new media information dissemination methods in a certain university in this city. The experimental results show that more than 60% of students pay more attention to portal websites, but pay less attention to Weibo, forums and others.
