Abstract

The activity of diplomacy to resolve the proxy war as one of the military conflicts of our time, which, apparently, will signifi cantly determine the development of the military-power component of foreign policy for many years, is based on the principle of interaction and interdependence of several participants in the military proxy confl ict. The confl icting interests of the participants require flexibility, insight, and the ability of diplomacy to bring together and promptly analyze the totality of conflict factors based on reliable, proactive information. In the conditions of the existence of nuclear weapons, the concept of "proxy war or proxy war" largely determines the relations between states in the foreign policy sphere. The efforts of politicians, diplomats and the military in the preparation and during the proxy conflict are characterized by a two-vector orientation: firstly, to achieve the goals set, and secondly, to prevent the transformation of a military-military clash into a large-scale.
