Abstract
The title compound, [Pt(CH3)(C2H6OS)(C12H8N2)]PF6, is comprised of square-planar PtII complex cations and PF6− anions. The crystal packing is determined mainly by graphitic interactions between the phenanthroline rings, whose mean planes are parallel and at a distance of 3.68 A.
