Abstract

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded an £8.45 million contract for development of thermal imaging technology based on cadmium mercury telluride (CMT) detectors. Managing the development contract is SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems (S&AS), while QinetiQ and Thales UK are also part of the team.
