Abstract

This paper aims to address ethical dilemmas through technological innovations in medical genetics. To this end, the methodology employed consists of a conceptual and legal analysis of ethics in genetics, presenting the objectives and principles related to the subject, aimed at the individual and his well-being. The identification of numerous diseases occurs due to the possibility of making diagnoses that are increasingly precocious through genetics. It is concluded that advances in genetics have been bringing benefits to society by the possibility of discovering some anomaly and being able to avoid diseases with the use of technological innovations. The use of genetics is a right guided by laws and principles with respect to medical ethics.
