Abstract

Digital image information hiding has attracted attention in various fields as an emerging information security technology. The discipline develops from experience, algorithms, and theories and ideas of existing disciplines such as signal, communication, cryptography, etc. However, information hiding has its own characteristics, and is different from cryptography. It is not exactly similar to the simple relationship between signal and noise, and is more different from traditional image processing and signal processing methods. It is a new technology that spans multiple disciplines such as digital communications, digital signal processing, cryptography, image processing, pattern recognition, and multimedia technology. Therefore, it may have more practical significance and value. In this paper, the two algorithms in the spatial domain and frequency domain of the digital image information hiding technology have been studied in detail. Based on these theoretical algorithms, Matlab software is used to program these methods, and finally these algorithms are implemented. A comparative study of various computational methods used in the computation of digital image information hiding is given. The range of application, robustness, hiding capacity, and time complexity of various algorithms are given. This is of great significance to the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms, so that a suitable calculation method can be found immediately for future practical applications, thereby saving time and resources.
