Abstract
Digital holographic microscopy (DHM) provides quantitative multi-focus phase contrast for high resolving investigations on reflective and transparent specimens that can be applied for label-free analysis of living cells. Results from application on mouse fibroblasts in collagen demonstrate that DHM enables minimally-invasive automated 3D tracking of multiple cells without mechanical focus control.
