Abstract

In the frame of digitization of didactic experiments, two physics experiments (Ohm’s law and Peltier effect) were performed using Raspberry Pi single-board computer. In both experiments relevant graphs to illustrate the studied phenomena were obtained. Since high school students show more motivation to learn new concepts from the science of physics when these concepts are clearly displayed by the aim of digital techniques, we believe that this kind of didactical approach could be very useful. The benefits of incorporating digital technologies in teaching physics, such as increased student motivation and interest, improving the conceptual understanding and enhancing students problem-solving skills were also highlighted.
