Digital Da'wah: Buya Yahya's Influence on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
This study aims to analyze Buya Yahya's da'wah strategies through social media platforms YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram by focusing on the integration of communication patterns, audience interaction, and the overall effectiveness of da'wah in the digital age. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using content analysis and interview techniques. The findings reveal that Buya Yahya's da'wah across these three platforms adapts to the technical logic and user culture of each medium. YouTube is utilized for delivering in-depth and educational lectures, Facebook is optimized for interactive engagement and real-time responses to contemporary issues, while Instagram targets younger audiences with short, emotive, and visually driven messages. The discussion draws on the theoretical frameworks of Hypermediated Religion and Platformization of Religion, which emphasize that digital da'wah is not merely disseminated through various media, but also mediated and reshaped through user interactions and platform algorithms. The study concludes that Buya Yahya’s approach successfully integrates cross-platform da'wah strategies that are both participatory and adaptive to the needs of digital religious communities. This research offers both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of contemporary digital da'wah models that are not only communicative but also transformative in fostering contextual religious awareness.

The objective of this study was to explain the da’wah strategy through Google search engine optimization. This research applied library research. The results showed that the da’wah strategy through Google search engine optimization are: focus on target audience, learn what audience needs, categorized keyword for SEO, SEO analysis on website, create mobile-friendly website, use targeted keywords in page titles, use infographics, use related keywords in content, link content to external sites with high domain authority, update old content periodically, increase site speed & improving user experience. This skirpsi entitled "Laskar PCR Da'wah strategy (lovers of the Prophet) in the implementation of Da'wah in Sembadak Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir regency". This research is motivated by the lack of interest in the village community towards the implementation of Da'wah. The purpose of this study is to determine how the Laskar PCR da'wah strategy in the implementation of Da'wah in Sembadak Village and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Laskar PCR da'wah strategy in the implementation of Da'wah in Sembadak Village. This type of research is qualitative research, with secondary and primary data sources. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive qualitative by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The theory used by Samsudin and Febrini. Based on the results of this research, the DA'wah strategy carried out by Laskar PCR (lovers of the Prophet) has succeeded in increasing the interest of the Sembadak Village community in Da'wah activities through a personal approach strategy, and social media. Through these efforts, it helps people understand religious matters and invites them to be active in Da'wah activities. Factors supporting Laskar PCR's da'wah strategy include material support and resources as well as cooperation with community leaders. While the inhibiting factor of Laskar PCR's da'wah strategy is the lack of public interest in Da'wah activities caused by a lack of understanding of the importance of Da'wah, different priorities in everyday life, and low levels of Education.

 The Covid-19 pandemic is an abnormal condition that has an impact on various aspects of life ranging from social, educational, economic, including the impact on da'wah activities. Barriers to social interaction in the practice of syi'ar Islam are indirectly a problem that must be resolved. The use of social media is a possible alternative tool in the midst of current policies. One community that is able to adapt by utilizing social media as a medium of da'wah is the Penuntut Ilmu Bogor community. Therefore, in this study the researcher wanted to find out how the role of social media Instagram as a medium of da'wah during the pandemic and how the da'wah strategy was carried out by the community. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained in this study, Instagram social media as a medium of da’wah during the pandemic has various roles by utilizing the features contained in it, besides that Instagram acts as a communication medium, sharing media, charity media, promotional media and storage media. The da'wah strategy is divided into 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the assessment stage. there is a da’wah strategy used is da’wah bil hal, da’wah bil qolam and da’wah bil hal.

A da'wah strategy is a plan that contains a series of activities designed to achieve the goals of da'wah so that the da'wah runs well and smoothly. For the Penghulu's Da'wah Strategy in forming a quality family at the Kemuning District Religious Affairs Office, the Penghulu has implemented various methods including da'wah strategies in order to form a healthy and quality family. The family is the smallest unit in society which has an important role in forming quality individuals. In this context, the headman as a religious figure has a significant role in guiding the prospective bride and groom in forming a quality family based on religious teachings. The aim of this research is to analyze the penghulu's preaching strategy in forming a quality family for the prospective bride and groom. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting a literature review and content analysis related to the penghulu's da'wah strategy. The results of the analysis show that there are several strategies that can be used by the bride and groom to form a quality family for the bride and groom. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on research results, according to Poerwadarmita, coaching is an effort, action and activity that is carried out efficiently and successfully to obtain better results. A personal approach is an important strategy that allows the celebrant to interact individually with the bride and groom. By understanding the background, needs and personality of the bride and groom, the celebrant can convey the da'wah message in a relevant and easy-to- understand manner. The celebrant needs to provide solid religious education to the prospective bride and groom, including an understanding of Islamic teachings and the application of religious values in everyday life. This will equip the prospective bride and groom with a strong foundation in building a family based on religious values.

Background: This study examines Habib Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar's multicultural da'wah strategy, focusing on inclusivity and tolerance in Indonesia's plural society. His approach uses constructive dialogue, social media, and cultural adaptation to reach diverse audiences, promoting interfaith tolerance and social harmony. However, it faces criticism from traditionalists regarding potential distortions of Islamic values. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to analyze Habib Jafar's multicultural da'wah strategy, focusing on his communication with diverse audiences. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, content analysis of his speeches and social media, and participatory observation of his preaching activities. Thematic analysis, grounded in intercultural communication and inclusive da'wah theories, is used to identify key patterns in his strategy and its impact on fostering tolerance and understanding in a pluralistic society. Findings: The results of the analysis reveal that Habib Husein's approach is not only relevant to the needs of modern society but is also able to integrate Islamic values in the context of pluralism. Multicultural da'wah strengthens the concept of rahmatan lil'alamin by fostering inclusive dialogue and promoting interfaith understanding. It bridges cultural and religious differences, creating unity and mutual respect. Conclusion: Thus, this multicultural da'wah strategy can be an effective model to be applied in other multicultural societies, in order to create peace and strengthen social relations. Novelty/Originality of This Study: By integrating digital media analysis with case study methods, this research highlights how modern da'wah can effectively adapt to cultural diversity while maintaining Islamic values, offering fresh insights into the intersection of religious outreach, social media, and multicultural engagement.

This study aims to analyze effective da'wah strategies in building connections with the millennial generation in the digital era. The millennial generation has different characteristics and communication preferences compared to the previous generation, therefore, it is necessary to have the right approach in conveying da'wah messages to them. In this research, we explore various da'wah strategies that are effective in building connections with the millennial generation and identify the factors that influence the success of these da'wah strategies. This study uses a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and analysis of social media content as a data collection method. It is hoped that the results of this research will be able to provide valuable insights for da'wah activists, especially in facing challenges and opportunities in interacting with the millennial generation in the digital era.

This thesis is entitled "Preaching strategies of religious figures in overcoming deviant behavior among youth in Serigeni Baru Village, Kayuagung OKI District". The aim of this research is to find out and analyze the preaching strategies of religious figures in overcoming deviant behavior among youth in Serigeni Baru Village, Kayuagung OKI District and to find out and analyzing the inhibiting and supporting factors of religious figures in dealing with deviant behavior among youth in Serigeni Baru Village, Kayuagung OKI sub-district. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. There are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique with three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. Next, we use Al Bayanuni's theory of da'wah strategy and Narwako's theory of deviant behavior. The results of this research show that the da'wah strategy used by religious figures in dealing with deviant behavior in Serigeni Baru Village, Kayuagung OKI District has three da'wah strategies, namely first, the sentimental da'wah strategy, which is a strategy that is implemented through a first approach. Second, the rational strategy, namel by looking at who wants to be given spiritual healing, of course the strategy must bdifferent so that it is more effective and can be put into practice and implemented. Third, the sensory strategy is a strategy that can provide an understanding of religion through an approach to young people and be a good example.

This thesis is entitled Ustadz Muksin Ariyanto's Da'wah Strategy Through Al-Qur'an Recitation at the Nurul Iman Mosque, Babat Lama Village, District. East Kikim, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. The aim of this research is to find out the da'wah strategy used by Ustadz Muksin Ariyanto in the Al-Qur'an recitation congregation in Babat Lama Village and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of Ustadz Muksin Ariyanto's da'wah strategy in Al-Qur'an recitation in Babat Village. Long. The research method used in this thesis is a qualitative method, the researcher used the informant Ustad Muksin Ariyanto. Data collection in this research used interviews, observation, documentation and data analysis techniques used in this research, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this research, first is al-manhaj al-athifi or Sentimental Da'wah Strategy. This strategy focuses more on the heart aspect and moves the feelings and inner thoughts of the preaching partner or mad'u. Giving a da'wah partner impressive advice, calling with gentleness, or providing satisfactory service. It's the same thing when Ustadz Muksin delivers his preaching material to the congregation in a gentle way and embraces them and then gives good advice to encourage them to be enthusiastic in study religious knowledge. Supporting factors in Ustadz Muksin Ariyanto's preaching include support from the village government by participating directly in recitation activities and providing operational funds for recitation activities and a sense of family and solidarity between fellow reciters. What is an inhibiting factor in Ustadz Muksin Ariyanto's preaching is that there are still many environmental influences around recitation activities or activities outside of recitation such as very loud music, lack of public awareness in understanding and practicing the teachings of the Islamic religion because it has not yet become a culture in society regarding its importance. to study religious knowledge.

Dakwah in the digital age has undergone significant transformation due to technological advances and changes in social behavior, particularly regarding the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). FOMO encourages individuals, especially young Muslims, to keep up with trends and developments in information, including in religious matters. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach to analyze the phenomenon of FOMO in the context of digital dakwah. Data were obtained from scientific journals, articles, and reliable sources related to digital da'wah, social media, and social psychology, with a specific focus on FOMO. The analysis was conducted to examine da'wah strategies that can be used to guide digital trends while maintaining authentic and sustainable Islamic values. The results of the study indicate that digital da'wah, when creatively packaged and relevant, can be a crucial tool in shaping Islamic identity for young Muslim generations, provided it is grounded in strong Islamic principles and not merely a fleeting trend. Effective da'wah strategies in addressing FOMO include substance-based approaches, optimizing technology and social media, and strengthening community engagement as a means for deeper Islamic learning. By integrating these three approaches, Islamic da'wah can be more effective in guiding Muslim lifestyles to align with Islamic values amid the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The study aims to determine the strategies, activities, and obstacles in implementing the da'wah program at the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership where Muhammadiyah is located in Mandala. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method using observation, interview, and documentation techniques in collecting data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that by implementing a good da'wah strategy at the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership. The Muhammadiyah Leadership implements a da'wah strategy by involving young people to reduce or prevent drugs, including the maghrib program to study the Koran every Monday to Thursday, every Sunday holding youth studies, once a month there is a mabit activity (night of fostering faith and piety). The Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership tries to provide education on the dangers of drug abuse for young people.

The issues discussed in this thesis are: What are the effective da'wah strategies carried out by the Nahdatul Ulama Branch Representative Council (MWCNU) in changing community behavior in Sungai Lilin Musi Banyuasin District as well as external and internal obstacles in changing community behavior. The aim of this research is: To determine the effective da'wah strategy carried out by the Nahdatul Ulama Branch Representative Council (MWCNU) as well as the external and internal obstacles in changing community behavior in Sungai Lilin Musi Banyuasin sub-district. This research uses qualitative research. The data collection technique in this research uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The theory used in this research is the theory of Drs. Samsul Munir Amin. The data analysis technique used in this research is the technique from Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the da'wah strategy activities carried out by the Nahdatul Ulama Branch Representative Council (MWCNU) in changing people's behavior have been implemented well. The implementation of this da'wah strategy activity is carried out well by using Bi-Lisan Da'wah, Bi-Hal Da'wah and Bi-Qalam Da'wah as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in carrying out the da'wah. Planning good da'wah activities can of course pay attention to the object of da'wah who always listens and pays attention to what a da'i says. So that it can create self-awareness in a mad'u to carry out the teachings of the Islamic religion without any element of coercion.

This research aims to analyze how the TikTok application can be used as an innovative da'wah medium in conveying Islamic values in the digital era. The main focus of this research is to explore the role of Islamic-based creative content in increasing public understanding and participation in religious teachings, especially among the younger generation. This study used a qualitative approach with a content analysis method on a number of da'wah videos on TikTok that were purposively selected based on the popularity and relevance of the message. Additional data was obtained through in-depth interviews with Islamic content creators and analysis of user comments to understand audience responses. The results show that TikTok has great potential as a medium for da'wah through short video formats that are creative, interesting, and easily accessible. Islamic values-based content, such as inspirational stories, understanding of Qur'anic verses, and explanation of hadith, can be presented in a short but effective manner. Content creators who are able to combine Islamic values with digital trends have succeeded in attracting the attention of young audiences, increasing religious awareness, and building positive discussions. The implication of this research shows that the use of TikTok as a medium for da'wah opens up new opportunities in delivering Islamic messages widely and relevantly in the digital era. The contribution of this research is to provide insights for preachers and religious institutions to utilize digital platforms effectively, and encourage innovation in modern technology-based da'wah strategies. This research also underscores the importance of digital literacy for Islamic content creators in order to deliver messages that are in accordance with religious and ethical values. This study examines the relevance of the Jawami’ al-Kalim hadith concept in spreading Islamic wisdom in the information age. Jawami’ al-Kalim refers to the principle of conveying Islamic teachings concisely yet comprehensively. Using literature review and content analysis methods, this research evaluates digital da'wah strategies that apply the Jawami’ al-Kalim principle. Primary and secondary sources are analyzed to identify best practices in spreading Islamic messages through digital media. The results show the effectiveness of utilizing social media, developing online educational content, and collaborating with Muslim influencers. These strategies allow Islamic da'wah to reach a wider audience, build solid online communities, and respond to contemporary issues. Although facing challenges such as misinformation, this approach opens new opportunities to strengthen religious education and positive inspiration in global society. In conclusion, applying the Jawami’ al-Kalim principle through digital technology is an important step in ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of Islamic da'wah in the information age.

This research aims to discuss the da'wah strategy of the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) of West Java in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of information about health is received by the congregation; some are true and some are not. Unfortunately, many residents and congregations are influenced by things that are not true, making them reluctant to be vaccinated. This research method is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques. This study concludes that the PWNU (Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Boards) da'wah strategy begins with the organization's view of COVID-19 which gave birth to NU's da'wah policy and its da'wah strategy. COVID-19 is a test that needs to be addressed and overcome properly. NU policy leads to actions to overcome the pandemic, which are synergized with the government and society by utilizing organizational resources to foster jam'iyyah and congregational health. Da'wah is carried out by conveying religious messages combined with spiritual and mental health information to achieve physical health, accompanied by worship and good endeavor. In addition, reading the Qur'an can also bring happiness that affects physical endurance and health. Communication media are used to deliver da’wah messages from West Java NU, namely through mass media and social media, in which social media is more intensely used for da'wah than mass media. The implication of this research is that da'wah by Islamic organizations can still be carried out during a pandemic by using communication media, both social and mass media.
