Abstract

The diffusion coefficient of H3H1O16 at 25 deg C was measured at four low agar gel concentrations and the coefficient in liquid water obtained by extrapolating to zero gel concentration. The resulting value is D = 2.41 plus or minus 0.055 x 10-5 cm2 sec-1, which agrees with the value of Wang et al.
