Abstract

Permittivity (ε′ r and ε″ r) of LiClO 4 doped polypyrrole has been measured in a wide frequency range (5 Hz - 1 GHz). Effects of alternative and continuous polarization, and influence of temperature have been investigated. The presence of a low frequency resonance and a high frequency relaxation is discussed, and correlated with non linear dielectric properties of polypyrrole when this material is subject to high electric fields.
