Abstract
Spinel-type nickel cadmium ferrite and perovskite-type barium strontium titanate ferroelectric and their composites have been grown by combustion route. The variation of loss tangent with frequency in the range 100 Hz to 1 MHz was studied. The ac conductivity was derived from dielectric constant (e′) and loss tangent (tanδ) measurements. The nature of conduction is discussed on the basis of small polaron hopping model. The dependence of saturation magnetization (Ms) and remanent magnetization (Mr) of the composites is also reported.
