Abstract

This article addresses the issue of the development of patient rights in Poland. The mere act of becoming a patient often arises from preventive motives, sometimes out of necessity, as patients engage in relationships with doctors or other healthcare professionals. This arrangement is referred to as a relational system. Furthermore, families typically prepare individuals to assume the role of a patient through socialization.
