Abstract

Power system capability is an important factor affecting deep space exploration missions. On the basis of summarizing the deep space exploration missions successfully completed by China, such as the lunar exploration project and the planetary exploration project, this paper focuses on the application characteristics, the technical difficulties and the progress of key technologies such as solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, radioisotope temperature generator and power controller in the previous deep space exploration missions. This paper summarizes the requirements of power supply systems and the technology for subsequent deep space exploration missions, and also analyzes the technical requirements and development suggestions of power supply for deep space spacecraft from the aspects of power generation, energy storage, power regulation and energy management.
