Development of AR-Based PPT Media in Science Subjects to Increase Learning Motivation of 6th Grade Elementary School Students
This study aims to explore the development of AR-based PowerPoint (PPT) media for teaching Natural Sciences (IPA), specifically the solar system topic, in sixth-grade elementary school. The research employed a Research and Development (R\&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The study was conducted at SDIT An-Nisa and involved 26 sixth-grade students as respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Validation sheets were used to assess the media's quality, evaluated by media experts, subject matter experts, and language experts. The effectiveness of the media was measured using the N-Gain score. The validation results indicated that the AR-based learning media was highly valid, with an average score percentage of 95.31%. In terms of effectiveness in enhancing students’ learning motivation, the media achieved a score of 84.75%, which is categorized as effective. Based on these findings, the AR-based PPT learning media can serve as an effective alternative tool for teaching Natural Sciences and can significantly improve the learning motivation of sixth-grade students.

This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based learning modules on learning outcomes and student motivation in general chemistry courses. This research is a quantitative research. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar in September 2021-January 2022. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental design using a Non-Equivalent Control Group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods used were multiple choice tests to measure learning outcomes and questionnaires to analyze learning motivation. The results showed that the use of STEM-based modules had an effect on student learning outcomes and motivation in general chemistry courses. The increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class can be seen from the large percentage of students who get high N-Gain scores in the experimental class, which is 67.8% compared to the percentage of students who get high N-gain scores in the control class. class that reaches 20%. The use of STEM-based learning modules can increase students' learning motivation, namely learning motivation as much as 76% in the very high category, 9% in the high category, and 15% in the medium category, and none of the students have learning motivation in the low and very high low categories. . The conclusion of this study is that there is a very significant influence through STEM-based learning modules on student learning outcomes and motivation in general chemistry courses.

The objective of this research are to create an Android-based mobile learning science media that is feasible for increasing students' learning motivation based on expert assessment, as well as to determine the effectiveness of Android-based mobile learning science media in improving the learning motivation of junior high school students. This research is a type of Research and Development. The subjects of this study were 30 students from Class VII B SMPN 1 Wonosari. Instruments to validate the construction and content of learning media by experts used a validation sheet and to measure learning motivation used a learning motivation questionnaire sheet. Based on expert assessment, android-based mobile learning science learning media is feasible to increase students' learning motivation with a very feasible category, and android-based mobile learning science learning media was effective to significantly increase the learning motivation of junior high school students with a paired sample t-test of 0.000 and an N-gain score of 0.703 that belongs to the high category. From this, we can conclude that Android-based mobile science learning media can be used to motivate junior high school students to learn.

The low motivation of students to understand programming material at the junior high school level presents a challenge in informatics education. This study aims to develop web-based learning media using a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach on Scratch material to increase the learning motivation of seventh-grade junior high school students. The Research and Development (R&D) methodology used the ADDIE model, encompassing five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires using a mixed-methods approach to obtain in-depth and measurable results. The analysis showed that the learning media was highly valid, with a 95.83 percent rating from content experts and 93.84 percent from media experts, and received an excellent response from student trials. Motivation assessments revealed a significant increase in student learning motivation from 72.18 percent (high) before using the media to 87.85 percent (very high) after its implementation. This learning media was positively received by students, deemed engaging, and made it easier for them to grasp fundamental programming concepts. Therefore, the web-based learning media using the PBL approach has proven effective in supporting increased student learning motivation and contributes to the advancement of informatics education in junior high schools.

Student learning motivation is the main aspect in achieving student success. Based on the results of observations and interviews, student learning motivation at MTsN 8 Pidie and MTsN 11 Pidie is still relatively low, which has an impact on low student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to determine the difference in increasing student learning outcomes and motivation on respiratory system material after implementing a STEM-based learning module containing Islamic values. The population of this study were all students in class VIII MTsN 8 Pidie and MTsN 11 Pidie. The samples were taken by purposive sampling, at MTsN 8 Pidie the research samples were class VIII.1 and class VIII.2. Meanwhile at MTsN 11 Pidie the research samples were class VIII.2 and class VIII.3. Data collection uses questionnaire instruments to measure learning motivation and uses test question instruments to measure student learning outcomes. The results of data analysis using a test (Mann-Whitney test) show that there are differences in motivation and learning outcomes, namely a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference between the motivation and learning outcomes of control class and experimental class students. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes and student motivation by implementing STEM-based modules with Islamic values

Motivation has an important role in improving learning quality. Scrapbook media can be an alternative learning media because it can be equipped with stimulus images that can attract interest and stimulate learning motivation. This research was a research development by adapting the ADDIE model. Scrapbook validity is measured from the results of expert and empirical validation. Expert validation includes media experts and material experts, while empirical validation by teacher and student. Product quality is the result of the implementation and the responses by students and teachers. Scrapbook effectiveness is seen from the increase in students' learning motivation when learning to use scrapbook. The instruments used were: teacher and student interview guidelines, material and media expert validation, field validation for teachers and students, and student motivation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the quality of the scrapbook media was stated to be very valid with an average rating was 3.725 expert validators and the empirical validator was 3.45 with a valid category. The results of the implementation of the scrapbook media on total student learning motivation also increased by 24.80%, and the highest increase was in the aspect of initiative in learning which amounted to 33.40%.Keywords: Learning motivation, learning media, scrapbook

The initial observation results indicate that students are less active in the learning process and easily give up when faced with tasks deemed difficult. This study aims to describe the feasibility of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR), describe students' responses and describe students' learning motivation after the implementation of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR). This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model. Sampling was done using purposive sampling techniques consisting of students from the Eleventh-grade science 3 class at Public High School 7 in Kota Bengkulu. The instruments used were observation sheets, teacher interview sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest student learning motivation questionnaires, with data collection techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis. The research results show that the feasibility test criteria for physics e-books were obtained with a very good category. Students also responded very well to the developed physics e-books. Based on the analysis of student learning motivation questionnaires using the Gain value, it was found that students experienced an increase in learning motivation after using the developed physics e-books. Therefore, it can be concluded that physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR) are highly suitable for use as learning media and can enhance students' learning motivation, especially in dynamic fluid materials

The background of this research is the lack of student activity in social studies learning, such as students being less active in asking questions related to the material, students less active in giving responses or answers given by the teacher, students never writing or taking notes on lesson material, no discussion activities, lack of interest in working on or solving the problems given. Apart from that, student motivation in learning social studies is still low, namely students are less enthusiastic about learning social studies and less diligent in facing the tasks given by the teacher. Some of these problems resulted in the average daily test score for students in the observation class being less than the maximum, namely 76, this shows that there were 23 students whose scores were still below the KKM score for social studies subjects, namely 80, while students who finished with scores above the KKM were only a total of 13 students from the total number of 36 students. The formulation of the problem in writing this thesis includes: (1) Is there an influence on the application of the Project Based Learning learning model on the learning activities of Class VII social studies students at MTs Negeri 1 Blitar?, (2) Is there an influence on the application of the Project Based learning model Learning on the learning motivation of students in Class VII social studies at MTs Negeri 1 Blitar?. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to find out: (1) whether there is an effect of implementing the Project Based Learning learning model on student learning activities in class VII social studies at MTs Negeri 1 Blitar. (2) Is there an effect of implementing the Project Based Learning learning model on student learning motivation in class VII social studies at MTs Negeri 1 Blitar. The benefit of this research for students is that it is hoped that it can increase student learning activity and motivation. For teachers, the Project Based Learning learning model can be used as an approach to learning that can be applied in thematic learning. For schools, as consideration for school principals to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri 1 Blitar and can be used as input in order to improve the quality of education in class VII thematic learning. And for researchers, it is useful as an effort to develop the application of the Project Based Learning Model directly because researchers can find out and understand problems in schools, as well as to fulfill one of the requirements for completing undergraduate studies in writing scientific papers at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Tadris Social Sciences Study Program. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental Research approach. The research was carried out by dividing students into two groups, namely the control group which took part in conventional learning and the experimental group which applied the Project Based Learning learning model. The population in this study was all students in class VII MTsN 1 Blitar, while the sample used was class VII-7 and VII-11, totaling 72 students. This is used to explore or obtain research data that will be used by researchers. The research results show that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model has a positive effect on students' learning activities and learning motivation. Students who take part in learning with this model show a significant increase in learning activity and learning motivation compared to students who take part in conventional learning. This is proven through the results of questionnaire data analysis and observation sheets as well as hypothesis testing carried out using the Independent Sample Test. The significance value obtained from the results of the learning activity questionnaire hypothesis test is (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 and the significance value from the learning activity observation sheet is (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the significance value of the hypothesis test results of the learning motivation questionnaire is (2-tailed) 0.003 < 0.05 and the significance value of the learning motivation observation sheet is (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. This indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is a significant influence from the application of the Project Based Learning learning model on students' learning activities and learning motivation..

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of e-LKPD assisted CTL learning on student motivation and learning outcomes. Samples were taken by purposive sampling as many as 2 classes, namely experimental classes and control classes. The instruments used were multiple choice tests and motivation questionnaires. Data on student learning outcomes and motivation were analyzed by right-side t-test and correlation test. Correlation test to see the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes. The results of the cognitive t-test obtained tcount > ttable (3.401> 1.668) which shows Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of the CTL learning model assisted by e-LKPD on the learning outcomes of students on acid-base material. The t-test results of learning motivation obtained tcount> ttable (2.191> 1.668) which shows Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of CTL learning assisted by e-LKPD on student learning motivation. The correlation results obtained tcount> ttable (0.495> 0.339) indicate that student learning motivation is positively and significantly correlated with student learning outcomes using CTL learning assisted by e-LKPD.

Learning is a system designed to support the student learning process. Teachers play a key role in enhancing learning success by fostering student motivation, one of which can be achieved through the use of effective teaching materials. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of short story books as alternative teaching materials to improve learning motivation in the immune system topic. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the following stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The instruments included interview guides, validation sheets from subject matter experts, media experts, and short story experts, as well as student motivation questionnaires. The feasibility results of the developed short story book showed a validation score of 73.00% from material experts, 82.14% from media experts, and 89.81% from short story experts. At the implementation stage, student motivation results reached 80.95%, with an N-Gain score of 0.50. These findings indicate that the short story book is feasible and effective as an alternative teaching material to enhance students' learning motivation.

This major objective of this study is to investigate the effect of leadership styles of science teachers on the learning motivation of elementary school students. It is generally known that students’ learning motivation could affect the learning achievement. Besides, students with strong learning motivation generally lead to better learning performance. If a teacher can break through the tradition and adopt a creative leadership style, it is possible to increase the learning motivation and result in better learning achievement. In this study, 165 primary school teachers and 2800 students were randomly selected. Leadership styles and learning motivation questionnaires were designed for research instruments. In the data analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were adopted. The results showed that: 1) Both the transformational and transactional leadership styles have been employed by elementary school teachers in this study. 2) The correlations between the above two leadership styles and the learning motivation of students are both “moderate to good relationship”. 3) The transformational and the transactional leadership styles can explain 52.60% of variance for the learning motivation of students. 4) Multiple regression analysis can be used to infer causal relationships between the leadership styles of teachers and the learning motivation of students.

The learning motivation of grade XI students of SMAN Bengkulu still needs to be improved. This can be seen from the analysis of student needs that were previously carried out with the results that there are still many students who do not understand physics material because they are still lacking in the use of software-based media. This study aimed to determine the development of Articulate Storyline-assisted media to increase students' motivation to learn Newton's law material. Research and development is a type of research that is being carried out (Research and Development). This study used the ADDIE model. This model consists of stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 33 students in grade XI.2 of SMAN Bengkulu. Data analysis included analysis of learning implementation, media feasibility, student response, and student learning motivation. The results of the research showed: (1) The results of the media feasibility test by the three validators obtained an average percentage value of 85.30% which shows that this learning media is very feasible to use. (2) In the results of the student response, a score of 86.56% was obtained so it was classified as very good. (3) In the results of student learning motivation in the initial motivation with a percentage of 73.86% with the category "Motivated" and in the results of the final motivation questionnaire obtained results with a percentage of 93.29% with the category "Highly Motivated".

The lack of technology utilization in the learning process at SDN Klepu 01 affects students' learning motivation. This research aims to develop interactive learning media assisted by Lumio by SMART, test the media feasibility, and test the media effectiveness in increasing IPAS learning motivation in fifth-grade students of SDN Klepu 01, Semarang Regency. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research subjects included media experts, material experts, teachers, and fifth-grade students. The data collection techniques employed non-tests such as interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Media feasibility based on the validation of material experts and media experts obtained scores of 91,25% and 90%, respectively, in a very feasible category. Media feasibility based on teacher and student responses obtained scores of 100% and 96,5%, respectively, in a very feasible category. The effectiveness of the media to increase learning motivation, based on the results of observations by teachers, obtained an average score of 90%, which shows that student learning motivation looks very good. Based on the results of the pretest-posttest questionnaire, the effectiveness of the media in increasing learning motivation is shown by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, which obtained an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0,05 shows a significant difference, while based on the N-gain results obtained a value of 0,69 with medium category. Thus, the interactive learning media assisted by Lumio by SMART that has been developed can be declared feasible and effective in increasing IPAS learning motivation.

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes and learning motivation through a behavior modification approach in class IV of SDIT VIP Al-Huda Candiwulan Kebumen, Central Java. This research was carried out using the classroom action research method. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and observations. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, namely calculating the mean and standard deviation. Furthermore, using the standard formula formula, the data is compiled with a frequency distribution table. Data analysis is by comparing the scores obtained from Cycle I and Cycle II (data on learning outcomes and student motivation). The data analysis was the analysis of variance of the paired-samples t-test formula with the help of SPSS PASW Statistics 18. The results of the study were: (1) the level of student learning outcomes through the behavior modification approach was included in the fairly good category; (2) the level of students' learning motivation through the behavior modification approach is included in the fairly high category; and (3) there is an increase in student learning outcomes and motivation through a behavior modification approach in Class IV SDIT VIP Al-Huda Candiwulan.

Student motivation is one of the factors that affect student learning outcomes, and will not be separated from the environment that supports learning activities in students. The background where students live can also affect their learning motivation and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test hypotheses regarding the differences in learning motivation and learning outcomes of students at Al-Ulum Private High School Medan and Private Nurul Islam Indonesia High School Medan. The hypotheses of this study include: 1) There are differences in the learning motivation of students at the Al-Ulum Private High School Medan and the Private Nurul Islam Indonesia Senior High School Medan in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. 2) There are differences in student learning outcomes of Al-Ulum Private Senior High School Medan with Private Nurul Islam Indonesia High School Medan in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a comparative technique with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all students of Al-Ulum Private High School Medan and Private High School Nurul Islam Indonesia Medan class XI for the academic year 2021-2022. The sample size is 86 students, with the sampling technique used is quota sampling. The research instrument used is a student learning motivation questionnaire with 45 questions that have been tested for validity and reliability; and documentation of student learning outcomes obtained from students' daily test scores; Data analysis used Independent Sample T-Test. The conclusions obtained from the results of this study are: 1) The learning motivation of Al-Ulum Medan Private High School students is better than the learning motivation of Indonesian Nurul Islam Private High School students, it is shown by the Al-Ulum Private High School Medan students are more active in learning Religious Education Islam compared to the students of the Indonesian Nurul Islam Private High School. This is evidenced by the average value of the learning motivation of the private high school students of Al-Ulum Medan of 93.12 while the learning motivation of the students of the private high school of Nurul Islam Indonesia is 83.72. 2) The learning outcomes of the private high school students of Al-Ulum Medan have similarities with the learning outcomes of the private high school students of Nurul Islam Indonesia. This is evidenced by the average value of student learning outcomes of Al-Ulum Private High School Medan of 87.34 while the learning outcomes of Indonesian Nurul Islam Private High School students of 85.89. 3) There is a significant difference in student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects between Al-Ulum Private High School students and Nurul Islam Indonesian Private High School students with a significance level of 0.006. 4) There is no significant difference in student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects between Al-Ulum Private High School students and Nurul Islam Indonesian Private High School students with a significance level of 0.428.

Student learning outcomes are influenced by two factors, namely external factors and internal factors, where external factors consist of learning strategies, learning media, learning facilities and infrastructure, while internal factors are student learning motivation and student learning styles. In this case the teacher in carrying out the learning process with the aim of good learning outcomes, it is necessary to consider the selection of learning media and student learning motivation. Current developments allow teachers to create their own learning media according to learning needs by using several applications such as the Canva application. Using the Canva application is very easy for teachers to make learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in student learning outcomes in the control class and the experimental class by considering student learning motivation. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research type with a 2 x 2 factorial design. To find out differences in student learning outcomes, a 2-way ANOVA test was carried out. Testing the learning media for the Canva video application with Canva Power Point obtained an f count of 0.02 <f table 4.05 indicating that the learning media for the Canva application did not have a significant effect on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education. The results of testing motivation to learn obtained f count 10.21 > f table 4.05 which means that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes for students who have high learning motivation and low learning motivation. While testing the interaction between the Canva application learning media and learning motivation obtained f count 1.58 <f table 4.05 indicating that there is no interaction between the Canva application learning media and learning motivation in influencing student Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes.
