Development of an information system for managing basic projects of transport engineering enterprises

Abstract

New challenges of the global and Russian reality define the technologies of information modelling and improving the quality of technical decisions in the field of industrial design at the stages of project development, design and estimate documentation and the selection of technological equipment in the chain "research-design-construction-operation" as the key ones. Overcoming the factors hindering this process outlined in the article will make project management more flexible and transparent. Identification of priority areas for the development of projects in various industries allows us to outline the prospects for using basic industrial design in specific activities. The authors have identified possible options for the development of basic design: the development of a fleet of project documentation for reuse; the development of industrial design based on a modular system within the framework of creating basic projects according to the degree of typing of individual elements. The study also identifies the directions of using information management systems in the development of basic design of transport engineering enterprises. Systematization of the vector of basic projects application of the enterprise, allows you to optimize the use of the resource base of enterprises, reduce the time lag of the implementation of industrial projects. The authors also indicate the architecture of information systems for managing basic projects of transport engineering enterprises and design estimates, which has a three-level integration.
