Abstract
This paper presents method to determining profile of profession for railway company employees, namely mathematical model and methodology for identifying potentially unfit workers. Developed mathematical model based on formation of a statistical set and plotting of a statistical function of a random variable, which makes it possible to numerically characterize the basic requirements for a given profession. The proposed models allow solving an important scientific and practical problem of developing a method for assessing properties of a person in accordance with profile of profession, with purpose of selecting personnel or preventing injury. Developed mathematical model is the basis for a self-learning highly intelligent system based on principles and methods of machine learning.
