Abstract

The flow fields in a porous medium under no slip conditions contain all the physical information to predict the Klinkenberg slip correction tensor, without requiring the solution of additional problems. For situations in which higher-order terms are needed to predict the apparent permeability tensor, the flow problem with no-slip and considering a first-order slip are enough to build an excellent estimate using a Pad\'e approximant.
