Abstract During the eclipse of 12 November 1966, the second and third contacts and the mideclipse instant were measured. Comparing the results with the Besselian elements published in the American Ephemeris and Nautical Almanac we found TE-TU= 35.73+0.10 and that the radius of the umbra at the observing site must be increased.
