Abstract

This study aims to identify the most important variables that can play a strong role in explaining the government health expenditure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period 1970 to 2015, which may help to develop appropriate economic policies that help improve the efficiency of the use and spending of available resources, looking forward to reach 2030 Saudi Vision. To determine the relationship and direction of the study variables as well as their impact on the dependent variabele, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model - ARDL developed by Pesaran et al. (1002) was used, mainly in verifing The Cointegration relationship of the dependent variable and the independent variables in the long and short terms.
