Abstract

In order to determine the concentrations of cadmium, copper and lead, four collections of the bivalve Isognomon bicolor were made in two stations in the Bahía de Santa Marta between May 1982 and March 1985. Wide variations in the concentrations both temporally and spatially were observed.
