Abstract

AbstractWhether the high-voltage electrical equipment can operate smoothly has a direct impact on the power supply and power safety. However, in this kind of equipment itself, it is difficult to maintain a stable state all the time. A series of faults will inevitably occur in the operation process, and the most representative of these faults is the absolute failure. The cause and performance of insulation fault of high voltage electrical equipment are the same, that is, partial discharge. Therefore, as long as the equipment has partial discharge phenomenon, it is at least indicated that the equipment has insulation fault. At this time, in order to ensure the stability of the equipment, it is necessary to detect the partial discharge of such equipment. In this paper, a partial discharge detection system for high voltage electrical equipment based on intelligent video detection algorithm is designed and studied. The causes and types of partial discharge fault (i.e. insulation fault) of electrical equipment are described. Then, according to the causes and types of partial discharge fault, the method of collecting and processing the discharge image is proposed. Finally, the intelligent video detection algorithm is proposed to complete the system Design, and then on the high voltage electrical equipment partial discharge phenomenon detection, through the detection results to verify whether the system is effective.KeywordsIntelligent video detection algorithmPartial discharge of high voltage electrical equipmentSystem design
