Abstract

AbstractThis paper explains the design of low frequency analog high pass filter for biomedical applications. Large values of resistors are obtained by utilizing the concept of tunable pseudo resistors which are basically MOSFETs biased in weak inversion region. Designs and simulations of first, second and third order HPF with cut off frequency of 0.1 Hz are discussed. In addition the paper describes noise, linearity and power consumption.KeywordsTunable pseudo resistorsLow frequency analog filterWeak inversion
