Abstract

Damping supports are used often to reduce a high level of vibration in pipeline systems of aircraft engines and power plants of gas-pumping stations. It is shown in the present paper that obtaining of little stiffness and high damping by changing of technological parameters of traditional MR material is impossible. A new technology of MR dampers manufacturing with inner regular structure of compact winded spiral parts which axis are perpendicular to pressing direction is proposed. A practical result of this work is replacing of plate damper in units of “Kuznetsov” company on elastic-damping element made of MR material with the same overall an connect dimensions of support.
