Abstract

In the contemporary era, technology plays a significant role in our daily lives. Consequently, there is a growing emphasis on securing information transmitted across networks. To meet this need, numerous cryptographic systems have been developed to enhance security. The distinguishing factor among these systems lies in their capability to uphold fundamental criteria for information security, including authentication confidentiality and integrity. This paper introduces a method involving the use of DNA and lightweight cryptography[1-2-3]. This method utilizes for the encryption and decryption of data using DNA sequence and the SIMON cryptographic system—a symmetric encryption algorithm specifically designed for simplicity and efficiency.
