Abstract
The article considers a mathematical model of a combined bearing assembly, operating on the principle of separation of speeds. The features of the influence of the switching mechanism on the dynamic stiffness coefficients of the bearing assembly are established, the effect of the appearance of resonance on transient conditions is revealed, recommendations are made on the detuning of the rotor-support system from the resonance zone.
