Design and Implementation Strategy of Informative Training System for Tennis Physical Education
Abstract Tennis teaching generally suffers from the problems of insufficient professional teachers and backward teaching methods, which results in students not being able to get the correct guidance and tennis courses not being able to achieve the desired teaching effect. Therefore, this paper proposes to apply the methods of posture estimation, movement recognition and movement evaluation in the teaching and training of tennis, and design the tennis sports informatization training system, so as to effectively improve the efficiency and quality of tennis teaching. The system employs the OpenPose-bm algorithm to estimate pose, extracts the skeletal pose point characteristics of the target character, and acquires the video skeletal pose point sequence of the target character. The skeleton action recognition network (AA-GCN) method is utilized for recognition, to classify and recognize the actions of the tennis player based on the coordinate information of the key points of the human skeleton. Finally, the similarity algorithm is used to provide recognition scoring guidance for tennis sports actions. The experiment shows that the method of this paper has achieved an accuracy rate of 0.8889 in the task of recognizing the six basic skills of tennis. And in the 15-week practical teaching application, it significantly improved the assessment scores of the six basic tennis skills of the students in the experimental group. In this way, it can create a personalized guidance plan for athletes’ daily training based on the information-based training system.

Racket sports such as tennis are amongst the most popular recreational sports activities. Optimizing tennis teaching methods and improving teaching modes can effectively improve the teaching quality of tennis. In this study, a video and image action recognition system based on image processing techniques and Internet of things is developed to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional tennis teaching methods. To validate its performance, the students of tennis courses are divided into experimental group and control group, respectively. The control group is taught by using the traditional tennis teaching method whereas the experimental group is taught by using the IoT video and image recognition teaching system. Three factors of students including service throwing height, arm elbow angle, and knee bending angles of both groups are measured and compared with those of world elite tennis players. The results show that the students' serving abilities in the experimental group are significantly improved using the video and image recognition system based on IoT, and they are better than those of the students in the control group. The proposed video and image processing technique can be applied in students' physical education and can be employed to provide the basis for the innovation of tennis teaching strategies in physical education.

Tennis sport is a fast-changing sport requiring both strength and speed. To play tennis, players need to have excellent psychological quality and high-level control and anti-control abilities. However, in tennis teaching, it is difficult to accurately see how the players’ psychological quality is. With the wide application of electroencephalographic (EEG) testing technology, the changes in brain waves and brain potential in tennis sport can be well detected. Based on the EEG testing technology, this paper studies the behaviouristics and neurology in tennis teaching, and the experimental results show that tennis teaching has a causal relationship with the improvement of players’ anticipation abilities and that the teaching effect can be maintained for about five months. In EEG testing, the more concentrated the subjects were, the more suppressed I± waves would be. In the rest state and the memory state, the neurotransmitter in the central nervous system changed regularly, and the brain also had regular fluctuations.

In this study, we aimed to determine the effects of Web 2.0 animation tools for science education on 4th-graders’ academic achievements and basic skills, as well as their attitudes and motivations towards science courses. The study was designed with pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental pattern. The sample consisted of 4th-grade students studying at one of the primary schools in Selçuklu, Konya, Turkey. In the comparison of the pretest mean scores of the students in the data collection tools applied to the experimental and control groups as a pretest, it was determined that the groups were equivalent to each other in terms of their baseline characteristics. The topics in the experimental and control groups were taught in accordance with the methods-techniques prepared and recommended according to the 4th grade curriculum. Unlike the students in the control group who did not receive any additional intervention, the students in the experimental group watched animations prepared by the researcher. In the posttest mean scores of the students in the experimental and control groups, there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group (t(55)achievement=-2.23, p<0.05). Accordingly, the teaching process applied in the experimental group was more effective on academic achievement than the teaching process in the control group. In the comparison of the results of the test of basic process skills (t(55)Skill=–.730, p>0.05) applied as a posttest to the experimental and control groups at the end of the teaching processes and the posttest mean scores obtained by the students in terms of their attitude (t(55)attitude=–.730, p>0.05) and motivations (t(55)motivation=.149, p>0.05) towards science, no significant difference was found between the groups. In this respect, the teaching processes applied to the experimental and control groups did not create any difference in the students’ basic skills, attitudes or motivations towards science
