Abstract
E-mail communication is important for collaborative tasks in an enterprise. However, the management of collaborative tasks using existing e-mail management applications has certain problems. In this paper, we present a task context-aware e-mail platform that helps task users to send e-mails quickly and efficiently. This platform also automatically extracts data from reply e-mail messages. It enables task users to automatically classify task-related information and user support services by using a task context model. We have built the task context model as a semantic representation model of the associations between the task and the task-related e-mail process. This paper describes the design and implementation of this platform system on the basis of the task context model.
