Abstract

With the increase of PB level of remote sensing image data volume of FY Satellite, the traditional relational database cannot meet the current demand for massive remote sensing image storage in terms of high concurrent reading and writing, scalability, etc. Therefore, this paper designed a non-relational database FY satellite remote sensing image storage system based on Huawei GaussDB for Mongo. The system realized fast storage, high concurrent reading and writing and management of FY satellite images, and was compared with the storage and query efficiency of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL. The results showed that: related to the Oracle and PostgreSQL two relational databases, the storage and query efficiency of FY satellite images based on GassDB for Mongo is higher, so GaussDB for Mongo is very suitable for the storage of massive FY satellite remote sensing image data.
