Abstract
Now-a-days, shaft drive transmission system is very common for cars. Though it’s a very suitable system for power transmission, there are major drawbacks, as the power loss is nearly 31% and also it’s costly. The chain drive transmission is a very good alternative for shaft drive in the light motor vehicles. As the power loss is only 3%. Also it’s very cheap. This transmission system is a movement towards the green energy resources because there are two energy resources used in this transmission system. One is the 306 CC internal combustion engine and the second one is the 2000 W BLDC motor by the source of battery.
