Abstract

The features of modeling a floating wave power plant (FWPP) in the computational fluid dynamics module are considered. A description of the computational fluid dynamics module is given and its application is shown in optimizing the design of FWPP. The stages of modeling, the order of construction, the necessary initial and boundary conditions, the goals and results of calculations are given. Keywords: floating wave power plant, hydraulic structure, computational fluid dynamics, modeling, power generation, kinematic parameters, internal and surface waves, energy. noreas@mail.ru
