Abstract

The article deals with the description of rotation type using vector functions. This model can be used in the designing of manufacturing technology of parts on CNC machines. Logical and analytical models are developed for the complete description of the details and the data set is also defined. The analytical model as the main model is represented by a set of vector functions, each describing one of the surfaces of the part. An array of vector functions allows to describe all surfaces of given part in spatial orientation using transformation matrices. A distinctive feature of the model is that it includes technological processing parameters.
