Abstract

Drug-coated balloon angioplasty (DCB) has been used frequently in conjunction with atherectomy. Given a history of conflicting reports of DCB outcomes, we used our large institutional database to analyze the long-term impact of DCB vs plain balloon angioplasty (POBA) in patients undergoing atherectomy for lower extremity peripheral arterial disease.
