Abstract
Deep seismic became increasingly important for the interpretation of large geologic structures and the discussion of the geologic history of such complexes within the last decades. Deep reflection seismic work — first started in the fifties — has reached a high standard which enables the geoscientist to recognize details of the earth's crust down to the Moho.
